Laonis Quinn is the founder of Breathe: Anthony J Chapman Asthma Foundation. Since the untimely death of her oldest son in 2007 from a fatal asthma attack, her mission has been to educate and bring awareness of the effects that this disease has on families and communities, and to hopefully save lives. She been active in the community for over 15 years serving on various other organizations. Mrs. Quinn is a active member of the Detroit Asthma Steering Committee. Mrs. Quinn has been a Registered Nurse for over 20 years. She earned her Bachelors of Science Degree from Eastern Michigan University and a Master of Science in Nursing Education from the University of Phoenix
My name is Ashley Reece, I have a Master’s of Art’s in Education, from Ashford University. I’m a former curriculum coordinator and currently, I’m the youth coordinator at Blessed Community Baptist Church. This is definitely a passion that I enjoy. I love providing educational services to the youth not only in my church, but also to the youth in the community.
I have asthma and also my two daughters. I lm involved with children everyday who suffer from asthma as well. I believe it’s very important to assist in educating asthma patients on how to control asthma and offer a variety of asthma resources.
Graudate of Ecorse High School, and Detroit Business Institute. Floral designer and business owner for 25 years. Loves volunteering. She has volunteered with outreach programs such as Zurvita Ministries Feed 500, Vista Maria Social Services, IGC Womens Ministry. Annie Taylor is honored to be apart of the Anthony J Chapman Foundation because of how asthma has personally affected her family , and the need to better inform and educate communities and those that have asthma.
Andre Chapman is a graduate of Martin Luther King Highschool and has a associates in (CIS) Computer Information Systems. He currently works at UPS as a tractor trailer driver. Andre is also victim of asthma, and has been since an infant. Andre does not let that stop him from doing what he enjoys and that is lifting weights! He will make it his mission to educate as many people effected asthma and provide the knowledge and tools to beat this disease. He is proud to be a member of the Anthony J Chapman Breathe foundation.

Beverly Cooper My name is Beverly Cooper RN., BSN . I have over 40 years in nursing. I have worked in a variety of fields including Med-Surg, Emergency Medicine, ICU, Ambulatory and finally Meatal Heath where I managed the child and adolescent inpatient units. I have an extensive history in management I am very active in my church, serving as a youth supervisor for over 30 years.
